History of the company
1880
1880 year
The HARTMANN forge and wheelwright shop is established in Wewer. The craftsman's workshop manufactures mainly agricultural equipment. Today, Wewer is part of Paderborn, a town in the most populous part of North Rhine-Westphalia.
1983 year
The company specialises in the manufacture of safes, including gun safes for trade fairs and exhibitions.
1993 year
HARTMANN TRESORE already has its first office. Customers can now view the safes on display in the showroom.
1994 year
The company expands beyond Germany. The first subsidiary is established in Paris.
1998 year
Another HARTMANN TRESORE subsidiary is established in Milan, Italy.
2002 year
HARTMANN enters Central and Eastern Europe with the opening of a subsidiary in Warsaw.
2009 year
Establishment of the company headquarters in Winterthur, Switzerland.
2010 year
First company headquarters outside Europe. Hartmann Tresore starts its operations in the Middle East, in Dubai.
2011 year
In February 2011, the company moves into its newly built headquarters in Paderborn. The modern HARTMANN headquarters houses both a large warehouse and a showroom.
2017 year
HARTMANN TRESORE Polska moves to a new place with a representative salesroom.
