Tubular safes are a rather unusual form of this device in the shape of a cylinder. Such a safe can be placed in the wall or the floor, without too much disturbance to the structure of the room. What advantages do tubular safes have and when is it worth choosing them?
Discretion
Due to their small size, tubular safes are very discreet places to store valuables or documents. Due to their shape, they are much more often used to store small items: coin collections, jewellery, cash.
A pipe safe is easy to hide, and its use can be very subtle (once the pipe is removed, you can walk away to another place to repack the contents of the safe). This safe is also quite easy to cover up – for example with a small picture or a dummy electric socket cover. A pipe safe can also be placed, for example, in the floor, where – to get to it – it is enough to remove two parquet staves.
Possibility of flush-mounting in an existing building
A traditional wall safe (in the form of a cuboid) should already be planned during the construction of the building. Its subsequent installation, when the building is already standing, is cumbersome and sometimes impossible.
The case is slightly different with a tubular safe, which can be placed in the wall or the floor even after the construction work has been completed. Of course, this requires work, but the specific shape and much smaller volume of the safe make it much easier.
Can be installed in an unusual location
A tubular safe, especially a smaller one, is easy to hide in non-standard places – for example, in a door frame or ceiling space prepared for this purpose. This offers significantly more possibilities than typical box safes.

Full security
Despite their smaller size, tubular safes are just as secure as box safes. Their casing is durable and the lock can be key or combination.
Tubular safes are less well-known than their box counterparts, so thieves are less likely to suspect their existence in the home, focusing instead on looking for traditional lockers. And this can provide the necessary edge to ensure that a thief does not find your most important valuables or documents.
