A thief will not be able to lift it, force it and often will not even discover its location. We are talking about a floor safe. If you want your valuables to be protected like in a vault, think about buying one.
Floor safes are considered to be one of the most effective security devices to protect valuables and cash from theft. This is for several reasons. Their reliability is influenced not only by the construction itself, the solid shell of the container and the types of locks used, but also by their installation. This is because floor safes are permanently anchored to the floor, which means that they cannot be removed. Their specific location requires a concrete coating approximately 100 mm thick. This means that the container is set into a special recess, which involves construction work and at the same time makes it impossible to install, for example in flats in blocks of flats. This solution is therefore most often chosen for homes that are still in the construction phase, or for businesses where expensive production materials are stored, for example.
Invisible protection
Floor safes also have the advantage of being effectively concealed. This makes the safe discreet and invisible to guests and extremely difficult for a thief to find. The safe can be placed not only under carpets, but also under heavy furniture such as chests of drawers or appliances, so that a burglar is often unable to find it and does not even attempt to force it.
A tailor-made solution
Depending on the intended content of the safe, the resistance class of the container must be matched to its value. Floor models, like wall ones, are available in classes S1 and S2. Their shell is made of the highest quality materials and they are protected by advanced anti-burglary lock systems, which can be successfully connected to the alarm. The safe can sound an alarm during an attempted burglary or notify the relevant services of a robbery after entering a code activating the silent alarm function.
A well thought-out investment
The dimensions of the safe and the equipment it contains can be adapted to suit individual needs and premises. Various container shapes are also available, such as top-opening boxes or cylindrical safes. As a result, floor safes can be used to store everything from cash to works of art, exclusive materials, weapons and small valuables. However, it is worth remembering to also consider your future needs when choosing a particular model, as a floor safe is an investment for years. You won't be able to move it to another location or expand it with additional modules later on.
